Use the link below to complete the Skip–A–Payment form online through eDOC. A downloadable version is also available below, or you can pick up a paper copy at either of our offices. Please ensure your form is completed by October 31st and that the required fee is available in your account before the due date of the first skipped payment.

How does the Skip–A–Pay program work?

• You may skip up to two (2) consecutive months of loan payments.
• The months eligible to skip are November, December, and January.
• There is a $25.00 fee per loan for each month you wish to skip.
• Interest will continue to accrue on the outstanding balance of the loan until it is paid in full.
• Your next regular payment will be due on the scheduled payment due date following the payment(s) you have elected to skip.
• Skip–A–Payment does not apply to Home Equity, Real Estate Loans, Overdraft, Share Certificate secured Loans, VISA Credit Cards, or Quick Loans.
• Skip–A–Payment does not apply to new loans that have not received three (3) full payments.
• Your regular loan accounts with Joplin Metro Credit Union must be current with no extensions in the past 12 months.
• You cannot be in default on any obligations to the credit union (this includes not meeting insurance requirements on collateral).

* PLEASE NOTE * IF YOU HAVE GAP INSURANCE ON YOUR AUTO LOAN AND IF A CLAIM IS FILED, GAP INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER THE AMOUNT OF ANY SKIPPED PAYMENTS. Debt protection coverage on your loan will not extend beyond the original maturity date of the loan.

Please make sure you read all information on the form before signing. The completed form must be turned in to either of the Joplin Metro Credit Union or online via eDOC by October 31, 2026. Late forms will not be accepted.
